In the lively Mood district, you’ll find Bistro Tartine – a French bistro where classic Parisian atmosphere meets the pulse of Stockholm. Behind the restaurant is restaurateur and francophile Robert Sörman, who in spring 2025 fulfilled his dream of creating an international bistro with a distinct French identity in the heart of the city.

As guests step inside, they are welcomed by deep Bordeaux-red details, brass accents, walnut interiors and a rustic bar that instantly brings Paris to mind. The atmosphere is warm and lively, making both long dinners and spontaneous glasses of wine feel equally natural.

French all day long

Bistro Tartine is a place where classic French bistro culture takes center stage, from lunch and dinner to late evenings filled with wine and social energy. Guests are welcomed into a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere where both spontaneous visits and long dinners feel right at home.

The restaurant combines an international big-city feel with genuine Parisian vibes, something reflected in both the setting and the overall experience. The ambition is to create a lively meeting place in the middle of the city where food, drinks and atmosphere go hand in hand from day to night.

Wine, cocktails and social atmosphere

Drinks play a central role at Bistro Tartine, where the extensive wine list focuses on French wines in true bistro style. Classic cocktails are also available for those wanting to start the evening with an aperitif or meet up for afterwork drinks with bubbles and oysters.

During the summer months, the outdoor terrace along Malmskillnadsgatan opens up, making Bistro Tartine a natural meeting spot from lunch until late evening in central Stockholm.
