Located on Skeppsholmen, just a ten-minute walk from Kungsträdgården, you’ll find Torpedverkstan. The restaurant is housed in a listed former torpedo workshop dating back to 1890, right by the waterfront. Here, industrial charm meets the freshness of the sea, with views of the boats, Nybroviken, Strandvägen and Djurgården. It almost feels like stepping into the archipelago without leaving the city.
At Torpedverkstan, well-prepared food and a relaxed bistro atmosphere take centre stage. The kitchen draws inspiration from different parts of the world, combining Scandinavian flavours with influences from the Mediterranean, Asia and America. The menu is varied and works just as well for a full dinner as it does for sharing several smaller dishes around the table.
Torpedverkstan is as much a meeting place as it is a restaurant.
